is nutrition counseling right for me?
The chemistry between the client and the nutritionist is very important. We will start with a 20-minute phone call to determine if we are a good fit for each other. I will ensure that I have the expertise to help you reach your goals. It may be beneficial to work with a medical doctor or another specialist depending on your particular needs.
CAN YOU PROVIDE A MEAL PLAN FOR ME WITHOUT 1:1 NUTRITION COUNSELING?
I can create custom meal plans based on your goals, potential food allergens, food preferences, and level of culinary comfort. Prices vary based on the number of days planned. It is important to note that working with a nutritionist will provide knowledge about how food impacts your health. A meal plan without the journey of learning about food will not be sufficient to make long-term lifestyle changes.
DO YOU OFFER VIRTUAL APPOINTMENTS IF I CANNOT MEET IN PERSON?
Yes, I am happy to accommodate virtual sessions via healthie or google meet. Sometimes it is helpful to meet in person, especially for grocery shopping or cooking lessons.
I PREVIOUSLY struggled with lifestyle changes, can I still work with you?
Yes! Sometimes life gets in the way or the timing is off. I am here to help you make positive lifestyle changes based on your goals and unique lifestyle. Not to sound cliche, but it really is a journey. Each person’s path will look very different from their peers. I will not think you are failing if our plans do not go 100% as anticipated.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF NUTRITION COUNSELING?
I have a special interest in helping clients and their families maintain a healthy weight, improve energy levels and mood, and helping clients who have been diagnosed with autoimmune or digestive disorders. Individual goals may vary, but overall clients should have increased energy levels, a healthy weight or body fat percentage, improved sleep, mood, and concentration, and a strengthened immune system.
WILL INSURANCE REIMBURSE ME FOR YOUR FEES?
While Nutrition Worthy does not accept insurance, you may be reimbursed for a portion of the cost. Please contact your insurance company to learn about out-of-network reimbursement for nutritional counseling.
