Hi, I’m Shyler landry.

Founder of Nutrition Worthy, lover of Kombucha, chocolate, and yoga. Through personal health struggles, including a diagnosis of Celiac Disease at the age of 20, I have eagerly pursued the study of nutrition to help myself and others, graduating from Saybrook University with a Master’s of Science in Integrative and Functional Nutrition in 2020. Modern life has provided an easier more comfortable way of living but has also resulted in the perfect storm for our health as a society. Over 40% of American adults over the age of 20 are obese, and 71.6% of the same population are overweight. Estimated health care costs of obesity-related illness are a staggering $190.2 billion annually, accounting for nearly 21% of medical spending in the United States.

My mission is to help you achieve your wellness-related goals through individualized care, education, personal problem-solving, and providing the tools you need to implement new lifestyle habits in this modern world. I have personally found changing my diet and lifestyle to be so transformative and beneficial, impacting every aspect of my life in a positive way that I cannot wait to help you experience these astounding benefits.


My Approach

 

It all begins with a desire to improve your relationship with your body. Maybe you want to have more energy. Maybe you want to feel happier or more confident. Or maybe you have concerns about specific symptoms. The level of awareness and intention that you bring to the table will make all of the difference.

 

Dream it

Visualize yourself as healthy and happy. Have faith and trust that implementing a healthy lifestyle and dietary habits will result in improved mood, weight, energy levels, etc. Lifestyle changes take time to implement. Acknowledging that your intention is to stay in the game long-term will help your mind relax on a daily basis and trust the process without being stuck in a quick weight loss fix mentality.

Build it

Consistency is the key to success in any venture, including your health, relationships, and work. There is beauty in showing up for yourself every day and observing how your mind and body evolve over time. Purposely choose lifestyle habits that you are excited to enact on a daily basis. Before you know it, these habits will become second nature and you can build on the foundation you have created.
