Supreme Pizza

So it may sound strange that a couple who cannot eat gluten or dairy would eat pizza a few times per week, but it’s true. We make pizza at least twice every week because it’s super easy to throw together and very tasty!

We try out different GF DF crusts from time to time. We mostly like the grain-free options like Caulipower or Capellos. Currently, we use the Caulipower crust most frequently because it is the most affordable and has clean ingredients. It comes out nice and crispy, similar to a flatbread pizza crust.

Get ready for tons of pizza recipes because they are fun, full of colorful veggies, and a great example of a quick, tasty, healthy meal on the fly.

One important note is that I typically use hummus as the base for the pizza instead of tomato sauce. Hummus can be a very nutrient-dense food, but there are also a lot of brands on the market that have preservatives, vegetable oils, and pesticides in them. I like Hope hummus because it is organic and uses olive oil! Check out their flavors the next time you are at the grocery store.
